How to Rise Above Your Story: Because You Deserve to Feel Happy & Fulfilled

Finding Your Confidence in Middle Age

For menopausal women, it’s a common experience for your limiting stories to catch up to you. The brave smile you’ve been wearing for decades gets harder to fake, and the traumatic memories start to break through the walls you’ve hidden behind. The most common obstacle between us and happiness is the limiting story we tell ourselves daily. 

So often we can’t find true happiness and unconditional love for ourselves because our perfectionism is running at full tilt. We see all the “negatives” … wrinkles, hot flashes, night sweats, that pesky 10 pounds we can never seem to lose. We try creams, supplements, surgeries, and Ozempic, hoping to find that younger version of ourselves. 

But here’s the truth: There aren’t enough anti-aging products in the world to heal the root cause of our pain. They only mask it. Real joy in midlife comes from knowing who we really are, bringing back in all the pieces of ourselves that we’re ashamed of, and tapping into authentic self-love. 

Real joy in midlife comes when we finally acknowledge the limiting story that’s holding us back. Is it shame? Abandonment? Unworthiness? Is it a wound from childhood? Is it people-pleasing? Perfectionism?
